Cherry Orchard Farm is located on the border of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, surrounded by woodland and heathland in the Greensand Country.

The farm has been run as a grassland farm for many years, rearing sheep, cashmere goats and cattle.  We are now focussing on farming much less live-stock densities and creating a conservation farm, where wildlife such as foxes, deer, badgers, thistles, nettles and insects are as much part of the farm livestock and hay meadows.

The transition is a bumpy ride, which I am recording along the way and we still have a long way to go. This website is to generate interest for those who want to follow our journey or come and join us by staying in the farmhouse annex, camping in the woods or coming on one of our courses. The objective is that you see the issues involved in today's changing environment.  We only have a few people staying at a time, so you can also properly unwind and appreciate your surroundings.  This is not a posh glamping place and work is still very much in progress, but if you want to come and see nature all year round, experience farm life and become part of our story of getting back to nature and learning about wildlife, take a tour of the site and see if there is anything that interests you or drop us a line if you are looking for an event venue. We look forward to meeting you!

Happy searching,

Lucinda.
